How to prepare

How to Prepare Hōjicha Powder
Mix 1–3 g of powder with 70–100 ml of water at 80 °C. Whisk with a chasen (bamboo whisk) using a zig-zag motion until lightly foamy. If any powder remains on the sides of the chawan, make a gentle circular motion to incorporate it and create a smooth blend. Pour into your cup and add milk, a plant-based drink, or more water to taste.

Tip: You can also stir it directly into yogurt, smoothies, or dessert recipes for a unique roasted flavor.
